guru vākyena labhyate
"Within the body exists all knowledge.
Within the body exist all the gods.
Within the body exist all places of pilgrimage.
This can be attained through the teachings of the guru.”
-Jnana Sankalini Tantra
Lineage.
Align yourself with a powerful stream of living wisdom and grace by learning and embodying a cohesive philosophical view of Yoga and Classical Tantra in an authentic lineage context.
Practice.
Engage in mantra, meditation, kirtan, deity yoga, ceremony, and more alongside fellow seekers.
Love.
Practice sharing your love of yoga and holding the seat of the teacher in a nourishing environment focused on growth. Unfold your creative capacity as a teacher by learning how to share powerful practices and yogic teachings with your students.
It’s one thing to learn about the philosophy of yoga from a book.
To fully understand the concepts and bring them into our daily spiritual practice requires commitment and creativity.
To be able to share the power of our direct experience, supported by the tradition of yoga, and offer that experience of grace to our students is truly the hallmark of a master teacher.
The authentic modern yoga teacher is a traveling ashram. They help to remove world-weariness from their students.
This course is designed for yoga teachers who have already completed their initial teacher training or have studied with Nataraj in the past. Our focus is on providing you with the tools, techniques, and insights needed to refine your teaching skills and take your practice of sharing Yoga with your students to the next level.
During this course, you will have the privilege of studying alongside several Yogis who have dedicated their lives to the practice and teaching of yoga and meditation. Through a combination of lectures, workshops, and hands-on practice, you will have the opportunity to learn from their extensive experience and gain a deeper understanding of the ancient wisdom of yoga, tantra, self-inquiry, and meditation.
You will delve into the philosophical and spiritual aspects of yoga and tantra, study the Vijnana Bhairava Tantra, a powerful scripture that offers 112 different entry-points into the state of meditation, and explore the deeper meaning of the practice and how to share this with your students.
Nourishment for Growth
Throughout the course, you will have plenty of opportunities to practice teaching and receive feedback from your peers and Nataraj, helping you to refine your teaching style and build your confidence as a teacher.
This course is designed to challenge you and push you outside of your comfort zone, but also to provide you with the support and guidance you need to grow and develop as a yoga teacher.
